- Badalucco: open air cinema (21:00, Piazzetta del Parroco)
- Ceriana: ethnic music
- Montalto: theatre performance
- Realdo: presentation of the first streambed trakking on the river Argentina. Might be very interesting - who knows where and why Argentina is losing its water? In Taggia it’s completely dried out, and here in Triora there are watefalls and lakes

Today is Ferragosto day, the top of summer holidays. Lots and lots and lots of people around, inspite of the foggy weather. 160 people booked lunch at Colomba d’Oro - incredible. This lunch has a fixed price - 30 euro per person! Very expensive for Triora.
Well, what we can do around?
- Andagna: sagra del brasato at 20:30 (as far as I know, it’s meat cooked in oven for a long time), and then live music at 21:30

- Pompeiana: sagra of gnocchi (little potato ravioli)

- Andagna: sagra dell’asago. The matter is that I don’t have a slightest idea what the hell is asago, neither does google.com or my Italian husband. I’m tempted to drive there only to get the translation

- Cervo: classical music played by Ning Feng (violin, Paganini prize 2006) and Yukako Morikawa (piano). Mozart, Beethoven, Dvorak, Paganini. 21:30, Piazza dei Corallini

Yesterday we had another dialect performance, “A tersa porta” (On the third port?), but I was too tired to attend it, after having spent the whole day travelling to Nice and Sanremo. But I’d like to take part in the lotto game tonight. It is raining at the moment, but hopefully the evening will be clear.

Only one thing has drawn my attention, and it’s in France, not in Italy.

- Seborga: “Angels under the sky” - open-air poetry and paintings

Thanks God, it’s Friday! So life is a little bit more vivid here.
- Triora: comic performance (in the ligurian dialect) by Montalto actors; the masterpiece is called “Vegliu sci, ma scemu na”. As far as I can guess, it should be “I want to be there, but I am here”, but it’s a wild guess! (21:15, Boschetto)
- Seborga: classical music
- Badalucco: open air cinema (21:00, Piazzetta del Parroco)
